Sundance Cruises 10-K
| Juneau | Distance: 10 kilometers, with a concurrent 2 mile fun run
Location: Juneau
94 ran the 10K and 130 the two mile alongside it, drawn out by sunny skies and the promise of refreshments afterwards on board the MV Stardancer.
Rick Thibodeau won in 33:38 from Al Graves in 34:05 and Greg Raschick in 35:02. He had won the Douglas 2-mile two days earlier on the Fourth of July, then turned round and won this. Page Dilts led the women in 43:52, 29th overall.
No results have been found for the two mile, so that race is recorded here with none. Two of the 94 in the 10K cannot be imported either: the Empire prints 18th as "name unavailable" and 55th as "no name given", and a result has to belong to somebody. 92 are here.
Patricia Sampson, 49th, is printed with no time. Chris Winter, 72nd, is printed 52:30 between a 53:10 and a 53:47, so his name is recorded and his time is not. Cynthia Callivroussi, 41st, is printed 44:19, which is faster than the runner ahead of her; the Empire's own report gives her and Robin Ross the same 46:19, and that is what is stored.
The table gives no ages, no divisions and no genders, so none are recorded. Results transcribed from the Juneau Empire's results column, checked against its report of 7 July.
The 1986 paper spells the 58th finisher VanHouten; she is on this site as Linda Van Houten, which is how the 1993 tables print her. | DefaultRaceDirector Unassigned | 1986-07-06 09:00:00 | no | yes | yes | Registration Form |
