Open to all ages. Matthew Mulligan won in 10:19.20 from Steve Donahue in 10:21.96 and Tom Satre in 10:29.98. 45 finished, nine of them without a recorded time. The top male and female finishers had their names added to the Mayor's trophy.
Times are given to the hundredth of a second, which is unusual for the period and is kept as printed. Ben Van Alen, 5th, is printed "1044.03" with the colon missing; between a 10:32.10 and a 10:51.13 that reads as 10:44.03.
