The Magnificent Mendenhall Mudpuddle Meet of Saturday 9 May 1992, from the University of Alaska Southeast campus at Auke Lake: a ten-mile run and a mile-and-a-half, organised by Suzie Gaffney. The only source found for this running is a single line in the Empire's week-ahead calendar, so what is recorded here is what was announced rather than what happened. Both distances are confirmed twice, which is worth noting because the short race at this meet changed length repeatedly: two miles in 1980, 1990 and 1991, a mile and a half in 1992 and 1998, and 1.6 miles in 1997.
