Ben Blackgoat Memorial Perseverance Trail Run Gold Creek Bridge, Basin Road, JuneauFour-mile and seven-mile races from the Gold Creek Bridge on Basin Road at 9 a.m. on Saturday 28 June 1997, sponsored by the Southeast Road Runners in memory of Ben Blackgoat, who the Empire reported had died the previous winter while training on the Perseverance Trail.
