Midsummer Night Run -VIRTUAL False Outer Point (Picnic Cove) Recreation AreaSun. July 26 - Sat Aug. 1 This race has two distance options: 10k and 1 Mile. Both 10k and 1 Mile courses are out and backs beginning and ending at the False Outer Point parking lot. Start at the markings in the parking lot. 1 Mile runners run towards town and turn around at the 0.5 mile mark. 10k runners continue towards town and turn around at the 5k mark (?50 ft southeast of Fish Creek Bridge). 10k runners should use caution when passing the North Douglas boat launch and crossing over the Fish Creek Bridge.
